If you mean, 1 DVD Ripper http://www.dvdtox.com/ I guess not.
As far it's not Freeware and not OpenSource.

If you mean, would it be possible in the future having a kind of DVD Ripping Plugin
-> I guess that's something that could happen.

    Regards

Hi Ralph, thanks for the quick reply. :)

yes i was talking about a possible plugin whereby you could insert a dvd and rip it to the movies folder that My Videos uses, i feel that its the one main addition thats missing from the MP software.

    what do you think?

I too am very interested in this. I'm strongly considering the move from MythTv to mediaportal snd this is one big feature (fir me) that i'm going to miss. Another being ripping CD's to FLAC within mediaportal.

I would love to have this as well. If someone is interested in making this plugin Mencoder could be a good option as it is a command line ripper and encoder that could do all of the work in the background.

I think fabrice might be looking at this option, as showing up in his program, but not implemented until some other bits sorted.

Hmm, an all in one video solution, does that sound good.

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5 I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try. But I can't give any guarantees.

Hi, it looks like the Client's server connection settings got corrupted somehow and were reset, hopefully this is an easy fix. Open MP2-Client, navigate to Settings->General->Connectivity->Home server. In the menu on the left there may be an option Detach from home server, if there is click it and acknowledge the dialog that pops up...

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal. Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...

Looking at recent activity on the web site, it has been 4 weeks since any of the MP2 developers have been active. They may be taking a short (or an extended) break. For this reason I would suggest that you uninstall MP2 and re-install MP1. The 1.33 version is recommended (in either the 32-bit or 64-bit version). Also, it is pretty...

First thing to say is that I use MP1, whereas I believe that you use MP2. @ge2301 has just posted that MP2 has a "folder view" in addition to the "library view", so you should be able to set up your system as I describe below, but the details will differ. In MP1, the folders that are to appear on the "Videos" panel are defined in "MP...
