Imho Cortana should be disabled by MePo under Windows, I mean, just like the mouse cursor

Not sure if that is something Mediaportal could handle as for hybrid htpc users (workstation+HTPC) you can't really automatically toggle it properly yet, only options I could find is via its UI or GPO which isn't applied right away.
By default Cortana is disabled after install and for those who didn't tie it to a Microsoft Account so it would only apply for users who specifically enabled it which is probably not gonna be the case for dedicated HTPC builds at least.

I will build another installer but/and you can upgrade MP by using deploy separate NSIS installer

Start the install and close it, go to %temp% -> mediaportal -> deploy folder and you can run separate installer

Please evalutate to add two kind of static item in the screen selection that became dynamic at run-time.

Primary current screen
Alternative current screen (first extended)

and let MP to select the proper one at run-time[DOUBLEPOST=1443775721][/DOUBLEPOST]when the dynanic refresh rate bug/improvement will be solved definitively I'll open a new thread if you are interested about a new brand features for MP that I think would be great

the automatic switch between audio device entering MP restoring it to default on closing
the automatic switch between monitor entering MP restoring it to default on closing

so basically what I already do using an external script

You mean add text/description like (Philips 230c (Primary) .........) when primary ?

Not sure if it will be easy to add the other feature. I think, it will create more issue. (from my view but a better dev can surely adding it lol).
