no because in some countries a channel can be FTA during the morning and encrypted in the afternoon.Shouldn't there be an option in creating new channels if they are encrypted or not?
The audio/video pids are not stored in the database. Like i said, they are auto-discovered. The Only pid which is stored in the database is the PMT pid
The DVB standard states that the PMT table should always contain the audio/video pids so no need to store them seperately in the database.
Its a bad idea to store this low-level information in the database since audio/video pids and formats may and do change often on some channels / countries.
