    I just checked in a test dll into svn that hopefully finally fixes this (if it does it was a really, really stupid mistake on my part). Please test it and look specifically for this (backup your DB first!!).

    If you had this issue, I need you to test as I was only able to simulate the error.

    Inker,

    I can confirm that at least so far everything seems to be working on mine again. I have 1000+ episodes, and they all imported proeprly, and stayed in the database after several restarts of both MP and the HTPC itself. Thanks for the good work!

    I think I'm having a similar issue here.
    Running the latest SVN of MP-TVSeries and the SVN release of MP from 2 days ago.

    When I add \\tower\vids\tv to the Import Paths, I only get about 30 shows showing up in the Details section of the MP-TV Series Configuration.

    After running this scan, if I add "\\tower\vids\tv\8 simple rules" to the Import path and start the import again, I get all shows appearing in the database with thumbnails etc, but this means new shows I add in a different tv show won't show up.

    After this, I remove the '8 simple rules' path and go back to \\tower\vids\tv and the same issue as above happens again.

    <EDIT>
    After some further testing of adding individual TV shows in a few shows at a time, the import seemed to break around 1500 episodes. It was fine with 1443 episodes, but with 1712 episodes it broke.

    It really shouldnt matter, since its limited to 500 at a time. Are you sure your running the last SVN of the tvseries plugi? Anybody else STILL have this issue?

    I'll grab the latest SVN dll again just to make sure ... I'll let you know in an hour or so if I can.

    <EDIT>
    I grabbed the latest SVN dll from the SVN post in these forums and overwrote the file in MediaPortal\plugins\windows.

    Went to the configuration and added in 3 more shows to Import Folders which took the number of shows up to a level that didn't work before.
    I ran the import, went to the details tab and only 1 episode for 1 show is listed. All the series titles are listed, but only 1 episode is there.

    Then, I deleted the 3 shows from details, removed them from Import Folders and re-ran the import. I now have all the episodes showing again.

    Could it be something else that's the wrong version or? like the media-info.dll or something like that??

    I was having the same problem. I went back to RC1 with the latest SVN of TV Series and everything is working again now. One thing I did notice in the log as I was importing with RC2 was several files failed at the "Attempting to read MediaInfo" stage and some files came up with "Problem parsing..." errors. Although TV Series was finding 2000 odd valid files at the beginning of the import, by the end only 1,000 odd had made it to the database.

    Hmm, yes RC2 again. Toonz are you using RC2 too?

    It comes with an sqlite version upgrade which gives me quite some troubles, but I'm working on it with bobb25. If your not using RC2 and have import issues, id like to know.

    I am having the same issue as Toonz. I am running RC2 and latest svn of tv-series.
    The trouble appears somewhere between 1000 and 1500 episodes.
