Re: Essence-1080p - Updated 2010-04-19 - v0.2 is available!
Thanks
Well it depends. We planned to release a smaller update soon (v0.2.5) mainly to get feedback on the TV parts and design changes we have done. We have not had much time to work on it now during summer, but as far as nearing that release it should only take a few days more.
When it comes to a more feature complete version I cant say or version 1.0. It wont probably hit until late fall due to our relative slow progress and actually learning everything as we go trough all files to make them 1080p instead of 720p.
But it's not forgotten nor abandoned we are just a little too lazy and playing with it ourself's too much
EDIT:
You can always download the latest version trough GoogleCode if you install a local SVN client (TortoiseSVN works good) and point it to the essence-1080p folder in your mediaportal directory and create an checkout for "http://essence-1080p.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/essence-1080p" there.
You can view the progress of the skin http://code.google.com/p/essence-1080p/, it's updated regularly.
http://code.google.com/p/essence-1080p/wiki/Roadmap is also usable as in terms of release dates or whats planned for the coming versions.
http://code.google.com/p/essence-1080p/updates/list is good if you want to see what we are working on right now and when we lasted updated the development version on GoogleCode.
perfect
Are you close to a release?
Thanks
