Just wanted to post a new screenshot of the new and improved myhome screen!

I also want to welcome stargate12 that have joined me on this project, the weather forecast is his work and I believe it was ported from StreamedMP.

We are busy working on myMusic, My TVSeries and myWeather and we will show the progress later this week aswell. You can always grab the latest working copy of the skin from our SVN repository on GoogleCode.

Great that you found someone to "team up" with .
Btw, I believe the BG-pics are from Windows (Vista?). If so, I don't think you should make this avalable for DL due to possible (c)-issues. As the files are not hosted by us, I don't care much, but it might be a good idea to replace them in time.

Hmm, the images are all from InterfaceLIFT: Wallpaper sorted by Date, I can't remember seeing any of them as originals in W7/Vista though. I'm planning on replacing all the wallpapers with different ones, but I'm in the progress of selecting which and asking for permission to redistribute them with the skin.

The current v0.1 is the last release to have wallpapers included if we do not get permission from the authors to use them.

Yeah I know.

It's the right thing to do. We do not want to come off like stealing others work/not giving credit/use without permission. There are things not created by us in the skin right now and where we might be lacking permission (Black & White's media logos, Maya's rating images for tv-series iirc) but that will all be replaced with custom work or used with permission once we hit 0.6 which we feel to be the first "official" release.

These development releases are just that, under development so that is why we use stock/other skin's media until we have our own in place, we do not want to steal other peoples work and do not intend to do so.

Just wanted to do some explanation in case anyone was wondering, we intend to have as much of our own media as possible and only use "community" standard media where it makes sense and is applicable.

There, mini-wall-of-text explanation just to clarify if anything was not clear.

Anyone know if the <shadow*> is working correctly in RC1? I have not found any bugs for it but since we have now switched to make Essence-1080p 1.1+ only we are working with the tools provided in the following wiki pages:

We use the following code on the following controls; Label and Facadeview (List, filmstrip, thumbnail etc). For example one bug we have encountered is for the weather forecast, when it fades out the shadow is not fading out and is still visible.

Another bug is that while scrolling the list in movingpictures most if not all the labels flickers between being visible and hidden.

We use the following code for the shadows:

                        <shadowAngle>45</shadowAngle>
                        <shadowDistance>1</shadowDistance>
                        <shadowColor>EE000000</shadowColor>

Anyone got any good ideas? You can test it by using the SVN on our google project page.

TVSeries support is starting to look decent now. Currently the list views's are complete and the other are on their way.

When you start working the music section things will get interesting .
Up for a challenge? I've never liked choosing between the "now playing" and "Playlist" (*), as I think it should be possible to "combine" the two.

Thanks, Music section is going slow but it's on its way. If you are bored, just download from the SVN and check it out.

I always thought it was a bit odd to have those two seperated, but I figured that is just how it's done. I'm up for the challenge to do something about that!
