Excessive frame drops (1 Viewer)

Have tried MS codec for TV this time - still no improvement.

I'm using an HDMI cable from the PC with it set to 1 screen, the TV:

Finally, regarding GPU, it looks like it's not up to the job. But WMC is (still) able to render OK. Maybe it drops resolution to 720 without me realising it?

    @kiwijunglist Not sure I understand you. The second screenshot was of the Intel graphics settings showing how I configured for HDMI.

    Here's a screenshot showing MS codec not working:

    The 2nd screen shot in quote was lav video codec. But that's fine. Just checking you were actually changing correct codec. Your quoted screenshot initially suggested otherwise.

    I've given up trying to get this to work and bought a BT PVR that works great out of the box.
    I'll still use WMC on the laptop for DVDs etc, but not TV.
