Hi dukus,

I wanted to test your tools.
Unfortunately, Mpe-Maker does not start. Neither under Vista 64 bits nor under XP 32 bits.
Starting the program breaks off without any error messages.

Dukus, first of all thank you for undetaking this herculean, but very important task. One request I have is regarding the installation of skin files during plugin installation.

Currently, in MPI and MPEI, the installer provides a list of all the currently installed skins with check boxes to select the ones you wish to install skin files for. These are all selected by default. Could you add an option to "select all" "deselect all"? For those of use with a lot of skins installed it is really annoying to have to uncheck all the boxes one by one every time you install a new version of a plugin.

In new version the dev make the wizard screen of the installer , and not needed to ask from user what skin should be installed, but exist a type to install a generic skin file ..

Hi dukus, first a big :D for developing a new version of the MPE Installer.
Testing the new version I found that there is no path template for the windows fonts directory. Will this be added in the future?

typisch_andi, you are right for older version of Mp need some files, now this files are included in zip, so pls re download from first post

catavolt, not really needed the font folder, you can place any where the font files (like %Base%\Fonts) but the installer type should be "CopyFont"

As many people have pointed out, updating the existing plugins repository to support autoupdating of plugins would be a great addition. This backend could be used to keep MediaPortal itself up-to-date.

However, again, obviously quite a bit of work to be done on the back end. Unless a simple page scraper was used to check version numbers.

Hope I understood you right: I supply an extra font for my skins that should go into Windows\Fonts.
Another question: Which file extension to use for the generated extension - xmp or mpei or what?
Using xmp crashes the MPEInstaller, as well as MPEI.
