    Hi Edalex:

    If you mean:
    1. Go to Extensions plugin in MP
    2. Select Website View
    3. Select an Extension to go to Details window
    4. Select Install
    5. Choose silent installation
Then yes it works for me. However I don't know what happens if you select an extension that does not provide an MPEI installer, and I don't know what happens if you do NOT select silent install. Maybe ltfearme or Migue can clarify that.

If it is not working for you, submit a bug report with the exact steps you used and log files, though I am not sure which log files or where Extensions plugin/MPEI logs those installs.

If you don't choose silent install then it will just show the installer dialog and wait for you to press Next and confirm choices for installation.

Silent install is automated with defaults chosen (similar to how you install from the views in Extensions).

MP website view supports exe and mpei installers, everything else is not supported. Also it should be noted that not all exe installers support silent install...so if it fails, try non-silent.

You're right Edalex, myskydrive opened MPEInstaller but it did not install anything that I can see, not sure why! It doesn't show up in MPEI even under Known Extensions (and I show them all!).

I tried burner and youtube.fm before, and those both worked fine. Now I just tried IMDB+ and it installed fine as well (but there was a new release recently - v1.2.0.133)

What a brilliant idea, why didn't this come earlier? Love this plugin, however, think it could use a little polish.

Also, where do i put the logo and the screenshot(s) for this plugin to pick it up?

Well, what do you know :) I've been spending way to little time here in the forums lately (obviously). Sorry about the n00b questions, just felt chatty once i posted, and i wanted to get this in my subscription list ;)

    Hi

Thanks for this plugin. It's great being able to manage plugins from within MP.

I've found a bit of a problem however. I'm running dual-screen, with MP on my TV and my monitor as Primary, which I use for browsers, etc. When I allow Extensions to close and execute updates, it puts it's splashscreen/progress report on my monitor, and my TV just shows MP's debug mode log collector progess bar. Obviously sometimes I have my monitor powered off when using MP, so this looks particularly confusing then.

The debug mode log collector is running I assume because Extensions closing MP looks to Watchdog like a crash. The log collecting is very slow on my PC (the dxdiag part seems particularly slow), so it's rather annoying having to wait for this, so perhaps some way can be found to stop this running when MP has been closed on purpose?

AW: Extensions Plugin for MpeInstaller (Updated on 25-04-2011)

I have a quest. As an example : TvWishList :: Since the last update 1.2.1.0 the last updates dont shown in your plugin...

Is that a problem that i never go out of mepo and open the expensions installer on windows ? Or must update your plugin the list to ? Or only when i start the extensions installer ?

I will only update directly over your plugin inside mepo and not go to windows, extensions installer that he update the list, and than i go back in mepo to your plugin and update it from there ?

Is that the problem, can you add an button how update the list of new file or updates ?

EDIT ::: Here is an post to that problem !!!

Also here are a few screens. The updates was shown in the installer on windows, after this i close the installer and go back start mepo, the updates are listen to in your plugin. But the list of installed extensions are not complete...

When i will install for example the tvwishlist plugin, mepo hangs by 100% I kill the mpi installer process and there the windows from the tvwishlist installer, with agree or disagree...

When i go again in the windows extension installer and back again after this in mepo, my list of installed extensions now complete and he shows me the updates to in mepo.

Hello, here is a up-to-date Dutch language file..

Remember: all strings with "plugin" or "extension" are translated as "App" or "App's". I call the plugin "Appstore". If you don't like that, you can change those strings by yourself.

Dutch users have to put the file into: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\language\MPEI
