thanks for the reply.

then i will change them all to jpg files.
i will be busy for a while but then its all done.
and after that everything i add will be straight to jpg.

Grab a trial copy of the Graphics File Converter Software - Convert JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, NEF etc., it is what I used to convert all my images.

Release Candidate 1 is now available. I have setup a new Google code site (link) for the plugin (source code will be added to the site as well). Please report any issues at this site (link). I hope all reported issues are now resolved but if not, please help me by adding them to the issue list

Important to all skinners are the inclusion of four new controls (91919295, 91919296, 91919297 and 91919298). I had to separate the logic around visibility for selected item, played item and the random images to solve the last reported bugs. Please read the skinners guide for more information (link).

If you want to try this version you should do this;
* copy your fanart in the /thumbs/skin fanart/music to a backup location
* delete all fanart in the /thumbs/skin fanart/music folder
* copy your /database/fanarthandler.db3 file to a backup location
* delete your /database/fanarthandler.db3 file
* install RC1

NOTE: If you do not delete the database you will get duplicates.

Can you supply a zip as well please as the MPE file does not install with MP 1.1 and the latest SVN.

Thanks for your suggestion but the problem is that all the paths to for example thumbs, database are dependant on user installation so I don't know howto do it.

You can do this instead;
* copy your fanart in the /thumbs/skin fanart/music to a backup location
* delete all fanart in the /thumbs/skin fanart/music folder
* copy your /database/fanarthandler.db3 file to a backup location
* delete your /database/fanarthandler.db3 file
* download the FanartHandler.dll from the google code site (link) and replace the one on your system (in the plugins/process directory).
* download the FanartHandler.org from the google code site (link) and replace the one on your system (in the /database directory).

This will work but I just meant supply the .dll and .org files in a zip along with the above instructions. Thinking ahead we would like to include this as part of the next StreamedMP install, I imagin a lot of skinners would like to do the same so know the steps to maunally install is useful.

Both the old MPIInstaller and the new MPEInstaller is located in the Mediaportal directory. Start the MPIInstaller and locate the installer file. Then you can install "old" files in the latest SVN.

Hey cul8er!

Can I change the position of the fanart image? Playing with <posy>0</posy> doesn't work. I would set it to -100.
