Humm, strange! So this is an Argus issue and not a StreamedMP issue? Why are the forward/backward markers then normally working in Default Wide and Titan?? Seems to me an ordinary skin-issue that has to be fixed in StreamedMP. Right or wrong??
Yes, I meant skip steps (+/- 5 sec, +/- 15 sec, +/- 30 sec, +/- 45 sec, +/- 1 min. . . . . . ) This feature is working, but these skip steps are not shown up in StreamedMP. This is very annoying.
So, this a bug which has to be solved by the SteamedMP-team. Am I right? Or is there a workaround? My wife don't like the Titan skin.
Downloading now to test, I'll see if I can find out what is going on, always hard for the Skinners to work blind if they do not use something like Argus themselves
A picture tells a thousand words, look like info screen showing for both Live TV and Recorded instead of skip progress, @ltfearme @trevor, any chance of having a look at this.
again: for me with ARGUS TV 2.0.2 BETA 2 this is fixed.
after update to the new beta (only for argus donators), the markers e.g. "+15" sec are back in streamedmp's live tv osd.
(MePo 1.3 RC + StreamedMP 1.8.2.3229)
maybe the reason is one of theses? (from argus changelog):
"
MediaPortal: Fixed OSD for DefaultWide skin.
MediaPortal: Updated all MP referenced assemblies to 1.3 RC."
This is odd as beta 2 does fix this, no skin changes required.
Before beta2 the back/forward skip caused this in the error.log

I had been looking at this but now installed beta2 this error has gone away and back/forward markers are working fine ?????
Not sure why Titan worked and SMP did not as there is nothing fundamentally different between the skin files.
Will go back a version on Argus and see if I can find out why..
yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).

Ok, so perhaps a solution, but not the "right" solution. On the client, within media portal configuration, under TV settings, advanced options, I switched to UNC paths instead of the default RSS, and it's working very well. Sure I had to figure out the paths, but no big deal.
Maybe helpful for someone in the future. Thanks for the...
