Does anyone know what would happen if one was foolish enougth to connect both internal and external usb connections at the same time?

I would like to know as well, since I too own one of these cards. However, I have only ever used the external usb connector, not the internal one. Has something broken for you?

Well it appairs as if nothing bad happened to mine.

I was having a lot of trouble getting it to work, only one tuner was being detected and the remote was not working. So I see this USB cable sitting there, hmmm maybe im suposed to plug this in, so I did. Which made windows go nuts (I already had the internal one pluged in), there is a new usb device, no there isn't, yes there is I can not identify this usb device, and it stopes being detected, then gets detected again, etc.

So I was in a very bad mood just having broken my new tuner card which was about 2 weeks old, and I go out and buy a new one. This time the Dual Digital 2. Now my original card is working fine and everything is great.

Except I have a brand new tuner card sitting here doing fucking nothing. So if anyone wants to buy a Divco dual digital2 I've got one for sale.

But seriously, Is the dual 2, a fully PCI board.

One thing you may find is the USB tuner does not properly initialise after Hibernation.

Which has cost me a few dropped recordings.

Thought this had been resolved with the reinitialise option in powerscheduler, but still not working consistantly.

So for a new PC I am going to build, with a Pure PCI or PCI-e Dual Tuner wanted.

It no longer uses the USB connector (although it still has the internal connector on the PCB). I believe it is the same in all reguards excpet that both tuners use the usb to pci bridge instead of just one. So it should solve that problem.

New Dual 2 then.

Make sure you are using, 0.2.0.0 + svn (10881 i am using at moment) So install but do not configure until svn overwrites files.

Or wait till 0.2.0.5 is released.
