Hard to get - MCE remote (1 Viewer)

Hi!

Noticed that it is hard to get the MCE remote here in Sweden lately. You can get the remote it self, but not with the IR receiver.

Someone know why?

Same subject, think they must be stopping\stopped production, as this was the remote designed only (in theory) for XP MCE, also their sales must have dropped quite considerably in the past 2 years.

Also a lot of cases can easily be modified for a irremote sensor, again a lot of motherboard support this input now

You can always get one of these which use the same drivers and act the same as the original mce remotes

The Pinnacle seems to be a god solution, and I found it here (I think) PINNACLE PCTV REMOTE KIT FÖR VISTA / MCE2005

Lets see what substitutes that's coming up...

You can also buy a Logitech Harmony remote, those can be programed to be just about any remote you want to use. Then all you need is a IR port for your PC.
