Hauppauge Broadway support (1 Viewer)

I don't recall any questions about Broadway in the past. I have no idea what format stream it delivers, and I'm not having any luck finding any technical details on either the Hauppauge or PCTV Systems websites. That doesn't fill me with confidence. It is entirely possible that the stream format is proprietary, and only designed to work with Hauppauge/PCTV Systems' DistanTV software/apps.
If you want a networked ATSC/clear-QAM tuner that is compatible with MP I think you'd be better off going with a SiliconDust HDHomeRun.

I currently have two Quatros running, one connect, one duo using OTA antennae, mostly UHF fringe area, mostly cat5 local network.
Hauppauge card retired long ago. I have also retired very early SD units, the Quatros seem to work much better than the older units.
Go to SD's support website and download and install the windows...

Can anyone tell me the step-by-step procedure for bringing up a second channel in pip mode? I can only do it sometimes, after many tries, and it’s not clear what I am doing that makes it work on those occasions when it does. Cannot find guidance on the site.

I would have to know more details, and ultimately, I'll have to test it when I get my new display, but an AI answer I got (I don't trust AI and this may not be correct) was that HDR is encoded with the HEVC codec and I know MePo uses the HEVC codec to play 4K UHD Blue-ray discs.
