sorry, i just have interpreted the error you have. I don't use TVSeries plugin, so cannot say how to solve this problem better. try to use forum search - that problem appeared by several other users too, so hopefully they have described the way they have corrected this

Assuming you're running Windows 7+, the database folder can be found here:
    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\database\TVSeriesDatabase4.db3

Instructions to (attempt) to fix it (Make a backup before doing this!):
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/startup-time-for-mediaportal.122706/page-2#post-1040159
replace VideoDatabaseV5.db3 in the instructions with the name of your TVSeriesDatabase

The only configuration that is certain to work is when the MP client and MP server are from the same release. It is sometimes possible to use MP clients from a release that is different to the MP server, but whether it works depends on the specific changes that were made between the two releases. -- from CyberSimian in the UK

I don't know about MP2 but as you said you tried MP1 too, how is the MP music config ? MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback. If you you don't have multichannel music you can choose WASAPI as the output and set the number of speakers to stereo. I have...
