A IR receiver won't help you in that case cause the X10 is an RF-Remote. Didnt you get an RF-Receiver with your remote?
If yes, plug that one into the USB-Port, go to MP-Setup and activate the right device on the remotes tab.

the X10 remote i have is teh universal one model UR74A it is IR remote i think u talking about teh X10 RemoteMouse this one is the RF , but i am talking about the x10 universall the one that can be programed with 5 devices (TV, VCR ect.)

Sorry too but this driver is for X10 USB... generic X10 given with Medion PC.
Mine works only with a PC.... so not the same as yours.
