It's like virtual files/folders, a google search will explain it further. Move the file and create a sym link with the original name/location. tv-server won't realise. (* i think *). I think just doing an import or using tv management plugin would be easier.

I do precisely this with my old recordings. I set the recording folder of the tuner with the lowest priority (and therefore least likely to be used) to an 'archive' folder so that its contents appear in Recorded TV.

I did that but here is the rub. Let's say I record all my shows in folder a and at night, I offload *some* in folder b. I have defined folder b to be the recording folder for the mepo dvb-ip tuner which I never use to record anything with (and it is set to lowest priority). The shows are now in folder b but unless I go to the tv server config and click on 'import recordings not in the database', I don't see the recordings in folder b under 'Recorded TV'. Any idea of how I work around that? It is the perfect solution except for the 'import' part.
