How do I play VCD (2.0) in MP?

VCD is just a mpeg stream, so should be playable by any mpeg decoder. SAF should be working fine as well. You could import the cd in moving pictures as it should find the videofile and then play it

I can still not play vcd in mp. Witch mpeg2 decoder do you use?

Sorry it was 10 years since i had VCD disc. Don't MPHC play it?
Right now i have Powerdvd af mpeg decode as i use SAF 5 unlocked.

Did you install SAF? Is so try play it in graphedit too and post the graph here.

Is the file extension in the default list for video (under MP Configuration / Video) or do you need to add it to the list?

When I play a VCD it said that it not supported by SAF. I most find a mpeg2 decoder that suppourt VCD (SAF). Witch mpeg2 decoder support VCD (SAF)? Any free?

After a new windows and Mediaportal installation will I try again to get MP to play my vcd.

I had made a ISO fil of my video cd and use Daemin tools to mounte the iso-image. I haven´t done anything in MP yet. I don´t know which codec I need to use so I can play my video cd in MP.

If I play one of my video cd (mounte an iso-file) do I get this message:
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

I where a way to convert video cd to dvd???

I get a sense nobody is playing VCD. I did a google and found these old posts talking about a free player. Also this post. Have you tried dragging the image into GraphEdit or GraphStudio to see what it plays them with? I don't know whether this is a simple video stream or a series of snapshots (pictures) you're trying to play.

PS, those 'free downloads' are crap... try to post attachments to your post when you can!

This is some old VCDs with pictures I only have on VCD. If I install PowerDVD can I play my VCDs. Is it possibly to get PowerDVD working inside MP?
