HP MCE Remote + Receiver/Blaster Combo -> Will this work with MP/XP Pro SP3? (4 Viewers)

Are you using it with XP or Vista?
Have you got the blaster working yet?

i am on windows 7,no i dont need yet the blaster but who knows in future.
the devise is so small and good quality.
I just now hope someone to answear about these 2 issues that i am facing.

have you tried start -> control panel -> hardware -> power options -> change power button -> Default = Turn off, change it to S3 Sleep

ok now just only 1 issue left this with the previous button somehow i must make it to work and then my htpc will be super.

ok here we are.
harmony remote have a button called prev. when you watch a x channel and change to a y channel then u use this button "prev" and then mediaportal must tuned and the x channel the previous watching channel.but if i press this button i get the channel list.
is that clear to you???If not then its my fault with my bad english trying to explain it.

i think mediaportal only has channel up + channel down buttons.
i'm not sure if it has a previous channel button built in.
i don't think the function of jump to previous channel exists in mediaportal (as far as i know)

no it have, in my old htpc i was using the happauge remote and this remote had this button and was full funktion.this remote come with my sattelite card and i was using with the inbuilt ir receiver.

try mp config -> remote -> microsoft mce -> mappings

use action = previous item

Kiwijunglist, isn't previous channel button the same as chanel down button?

I can't help you nicos, maybe you can try the IRSS plugin and see if it works there.
