Hi dangerzone,

  • missing or invalid file: It seems, that on your HTPC languages files from an earlier version of HTPCInfo are installed. Please download the actual version v0.8.0 and copy the required languages files manually in required folders.
  • check 1 (Update): check in the performance monitor, if you can see the counter "System"/"System Up Time"
  • check 2 (Processor): check, if you can see the counter "Processor"/"% Processor Time"/"_Total" and "ProcessorPerformance"/"frequency"/"PPM_Processor_0"
  • check 4 (Disk): check, if you can see the counter "PhysicalDisk"/"% Disk Read Time"/"_Total" and "PhysicalDisk"/"% Disk Write Time"/"_Total"
  • check 5 (Network): check, if you can see the counter "Network Interface"/"Bytes Sent/sec" and "Network Interface"/"Bytes Received/sec"

After this, please re-run the test again. Thx for your help.

Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

Re: HTPCInfo plugin for MediaPortal v0.8.0

i manually copied all files over to the appropriate maps and it still says missing or invalid file.

For all the other checks, if i look in my performance counter it is different than what you ask.
ex:

% Processor Time = percentage processor time
% Disk Read Time = percentage disk read time

so the bottom lines are there but different formulated.

hope you no what i mean.

the strange thing is, i have the sidebar with gadgets for memory disk read and write and al the stuff thats also in your htpcinfo and all that stuff just works, don't no if it requires the same performance counters.

Hi Micropolis.

Thanks for your plugin. Great!!!
I have problems installing it. I get the following error message:

Previously I had installed Speedfan. Perhaps there is the problem?

Re: HTPCInfo plugin for MediaPortal v0.8.0

tomcat123:

did you try reading the error message?
The install failed because the HTPCInfo.Core.dll was in use and therefor could not be overwritten.
You were most likely running MP or MP config when installing.

Re: HTPCInfo plugin for MediaPortal v0.8.0

Hi tomcat123,
does a reboot helps? If not, please take a look into your task manager and kill any running MediaPortal dependent programs/libraries manually.

Cheers, Micropolis ;-)

Of course, MP configuration is running. I need to install the mpe1!

Micropolis

How should I install the mpe1 without MP config?
