Re: HTPCInfo plugin v1.4.1 for MediaPortal 1.2.0 and higher

Well normally i know how. But havn't figured out how you name them yet :) (normally i would have used #HTPCInfo.Translation.540 ;))

Ok heres a bug, <String id="540">Enheder</String> always adds an "s". Perhaps to control multiple stuff in english? Device"s"

And i'm having troubles with:
#HTPCInfo.TranslationUptime
#HTPCInfo.TranslationOpticalDrive
#HTPCInfo.TranslationPartitionCount
#HTPCInfo.TranslationBIOS

Mostlikely wrong id.

HTPCInfo plugin v1.4.1 for MediaPortal 1.2.2 and no TV Server dll files

well I would love to give HTPCInfo a go - but after a couple of hours searching and reading this forum - I can't seem to make it happen :(

My config:
Windows 7 64-bit with SP1 (baked into the install)
MediaPortal 1.2.2.0
4TheRecord 1.6.0.2
Argus TV Server 1.6.0.2
StreamedMP 1.7.5.3066
SpeedFan 4.45
HTPCInfo 1.4.1

I have installed HTPCInfo using MPE Installer - all good

Launch HTPCInfo from Plugins inside MP - get the wonderful "Missing or invalid file:" error

So start digging around and look at MP error log View attachment 95758

Yep okay - I use Argus TV Server not MP TV Server - and HTPCInfo needs MP TV Server dll files

So start searching for these - and Micropolis had attached them to Post 71....they are not there anymore

1. Will HTPCInfo 1.4.1 work with my config as above?
2. Is the only thing stopping HTPCInfo from working the MP TV Server dll files?
3. If answer to 2 is Yes, where can I get the correct MP TV Server dll files?
4. I also can't seem to find SpeedFanConnector.dll - is this required anymore?

It would be really nice for the HTPCInfo installation to check if MP TV Server dll files a missing (probably because another TV server is being used) and prompt whether the files should be installed

Thanks
sprucas

Re: HTPCInfo plugin v1.4.1 for MediaPortal 1.2.2 and no TV Server dll files

Hello sprucas,

As you have rightly observed, HTPCInfo needs some TV server libraries.

1. Sure.
2. Correct.
3. You can find the required TV Server libraries for MediaPortal v1.2.2 in the first post of this thread. Please download it and copy all files manually into your MediaPortal installation directory.
4. The library speedfanconnector.dll is not needed any longer. All required HTPCInfo libraries you can find in the installer or in the archive on page 1 of the HTPCInfo thread.

Cheers, Micropolis

Re: HTPCInfo plugin v1.4.1 for MediaPortal 1.2.2 and no TV Server dll files

Hi rekenaar, high and Holzi,
I think high fixed that earlier today. IIRC it was Holzi requesting it from high on your behalf.

Oops, I didn't have noticed this yet. Thank you very much for your fantastic support.

Cheers and many thanks, Micropolis

    AW: HTPCInfo plugin v1.4.1 for MediaPortal 1.2.0 and higher

    After long hours skinning the translated properties, here are the results ;)
    I also had to modify the German language file a bit.
    Pls find enclosed the new skiin files for PureVisionHD skins, the modified German language file (Alex, pls use this one in your upcoming release) and some screeshots.
    Have a very nice and successful 2012 :D

    Dear community,
    after positive feedback regarding refactored xAP routines and translation labels I had updated the official version now. Additionally to these changes the plugin was compiled against the latest MediaPortal release v1.2.2. If you see any problems here, please send me a private message.
    Skin changes are not required.

    Important hint for skinners:
    This version offers a new method (and harmonized way as related to my other plugins) to manage multiple display screens. The old solution is supported for exactly one release in parallel. Please change your condition controls based on the following details:
    • <visible>control.isvisible(50)</visible> -> <visible>string.equals(#HTPCInfo.SectionView,Overview)</visible>
    • <visible>control.isvisible(51)</visible> -> <visible>string.equals(#HTPCInfo.SectionView,Details)</visible>
    • <visible>control.isvisible(52)</visible> -> <visible>string.equals(#HTPCInfo.SectionView,Gauges)</visible>
    • <visible>control.isvisible(53)</visible> -> <visible>string.equals(#HTPCInfo.SectionView,Summary)</visible>

    Cheers, Micropolis

    Trying this out for the first time. Downloaded HTPCInfo TVServerMonitor v0.6.0.zip but it only contains a single file, no subdirectories or other files. The instructions in the pdf in the first post say to copy all the files from this zip.

    Trying to run this one file results in an abort as it's trying to open dependent files.

    If this has already been noted in the thread, my apologies - I couldn't find it after 20 minutes of reading the entire thread. Hopefully it's a new problem that can be fixed or the first post can be updated with new instructions.
