i just installed but it get this (1 Viewer)

with every skin i try i always get screwed up titles

Could be your XP settings.

What is your DPI, have you changed from 96 to 120 perhaps, otherwise resolution could be be another factor.

More specs regarding your setup would help, also delete the Mediaportal\cache folder contents otherwise nothing changes.

i hav xp mce02
i have tryed 3 resulution settings800X600,1024X768,1280X1024(only ones avalible)
i have tryed 2 dpi settings96 and 120(only ones avalible)
2 colour settings highest 32bit medium16bit(only ones avalible)
i havent changed any thing in he media portal config(apart from the skin, but none work anyway)
pc has 120gb hd,480ram,1.80ghz,servicepack 2(all i no)
i have directx9,latest java,.net framework 2.0
and thts all i no,and can think of
