MediaPortal 1 Version 0.2.3.0 is what it says when loaded. But the one I downloded from the web site was the first one down the list called: Release Candidate V1.0.0.0 RC1
No SVN as far as I know.
MesFilmsv4.2.6a_Stable

I had MediaPortal 1 running, but I just now tried to run it and across the front of the screen it says:

missing or invalid :c:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\BlueTwo wide\myHome.xml

Click on the left picture 3 times, then you will be able to read it. This show where the MesFilms .dill is.

Then click 3 times on the right picture. This shows I am having a problem installing the MyFilms plugin into MediaPortal 1 setup.

You are using the wrong version of MyFilms you should be using the latest version of MyFilms v 4.5 not the version for MP 0.2.2

It also sounds as though you might have somehow managed to corrupt the installation. If changing the version of Myfilms does not fix the problem, I suggest that you remove MediaPortal and start again with V1.0.0.0 RC1, then add the latest SVN. Once this is installed and successfully working then add MyFilms using the MPI installer.

I think you mis-read what I posted in the above post. I said I was using:

MediaPortal 1 Version 0.2.3.0, Release Candidate V1.0.0.0 RC1

The MyFlims version was, MesFilmsv4.2.6a_Stable

I downloaded the SVN version just a little while ago and now I just need to configure it.

Which I am having a little problem with. I will keep trying and start posting my problems in a little while.
:D

The reason for the multiple posts of the same question was, I was thinking that some of the other users who might have the answer to my question would never get over the the 1 area that I did post in and then not get different ways to do the same thing.

I have read hear and other places that there are different ways to do the same things, because of the different OS's, ect... that each user uses. Below is what you asked me to do.

Considering my explanation, are you saying that it is not necessary to do multiple posts?

Can you also refrain from multiple posting of the same question in different or new threads it makes it difficult for anybody to give help. Asking the same question several times doesn't mean you will get the answer any quicker.

This is known as crossposting and is against the forum rules. Please don't do it or you will get a claps on you'r finger (read warning) next time :) Crossposts will also be deleted.

That is no reason to cross post at all....post in the relevant subforum and post once only.

Also, please don't delete/edit your original question after it has been answered/is solved. Consider other people having the same problem, now they can't find youre post and will have to ask the same question again. :D

With MP I, you have to use MyFilms_vxxx_SVN version. The SVN version of MyFilms is to use with MP >= 0.2.3. The stable one with previous MP versions (0.2.2 and lower)

I hope you don't find any more.
I am not sure if I have done any others but I will not do it anymore.
If you were to find one, it would be because I messed up. I will do my best to abide by the Forum rules:D

FYI, you can also play with these settings: show TV Server Configuration shortcut => Right-click => Properties => Compatibility => Change High DPI settings That way you don't have to change the whole scaling of Windows just for this particular application

I was just tinkering with a few settings in the MediaPortal configuration and am happy to have found the cause of the problem. Disabling the option "Single seat setup: force RTSP usage" under "TV/Radio", "Advanced Options" resolved the issue. After I disabled this option, I was able to delete the recordings the first time...

Got a reply from SD ... "Looks like your last successful download was on 5/23. On 5/24 for some reason we received 194 connections between 10:54 and 11:05 triggering a denial of service attack ban. The logs show it was lifted on 5/25, but I still see the entry in iptables. I reset fail2ban and hopefully you're working again." Weird...
