I have the Adaptec AVC-3610 (USB external dual analog tuner) working now. Once I do some more testing I'll submit a patch to the dev team.

Hey, How did you get the AVC-3610 working with media portal??? Mine detects the channels correctly but then says "No Audio/Video Ouput" when I try to preview them. So if you could explain how you got it working please let me know. Thanks

I had to make code changes to get it working. You can try one of my builds from this thread.

I just installed MP and I love it... unfortunately it doesn't work with my Adaptec AVC-3610 tuner so I was wondering if you are still making patches from the latest SVN releases, as I'd love to be able to run your patched version based on the 1.1.2 release.

Brief update... Hauppauge support responded quickly, stating that the "driver for all of our product confirm to the BDA format". The Germany-Full doesn't have all the channels either. But I've now found out that I can read the frequencies using DVB-Viewer, which also receives all the channels I can receive. I'll use that to create my own channel file. Let's see if that works.

I switch MP1 to cable reception. I'm trying that with a WinTV Dual. I found an XML file for Vodafone in the forum. the given list...
maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
Preferable with as much disabled as possible
also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything)
