Has anyone made the switch to MP 1.1.0 and gotten their database and everything to safely switch over? I ask because I recently finished my entire collection, and do not want to start over with it, but my .ts recordings are having problems and I would like to update MP to the most stable release to see if that helps. I treid once to backup the database of myemulators 3.5 and when I tried to reload none of my pics were there(or something along those lines, I can't quite remember) I don't want to lose myemulators database and pics, descriptions, etc. So if anyone can let me know that would be great.

Yeah I switched but I did have significant issues but it might not have to do with the MP switch at all but rather the upgrade part of the new plugin (I had tons of issues with array indexes being out of bounds, indicating most likely a corrupt (content of the) DB).
What I would do is just back it up and then switch. AFAIK upgrading MP won't do anything with the plugins SQLite DB's (only to the internal SQLite DBS such as the one for music) so you do not have to I think but better be safe then sorry.
What I usually do is create an image using macrium reflect free. If anything goes wrong badly I put the backup image over the current install. If it's not that bad I can open up/mount the image and get the backup of the files that I want.

Thanks for the reply. What did you do about your corrupt DB? Did you just grab the files you needed form your backup image?

Yeah i grabbed them from backup but the backup i had was still the older emulator version so i had the exact same problem afterwards. Then I started messing with some SQL statements to fix it but gave up after a bit, couldn't locate the issue.
Then I started from scratch and got it working that way

Can anyone help me figure out what im doing wrong.

tried to install this last night as both and upgrade from 3.1 and fresh install but every time i try and go into the config panel it hangs for ages... ( clicked on it this morning before work and left it, 8 hours later the config page opened )

im running MP 1.1.0 and using windows 7 64bit with maya skin

I have a Problem that MyEmulator are not Scan my PCGames. Only EmuGames are scanned. What´s wrong?

Problem Nr Two is, WInUAE configuration doesn´t work.

What´s the Solution for WinUAE. The Roms Directory is the Path where are the Files with *.adf or not?
Here is said that are the Rom Folder
When i scann the Games, there are only display the configuratuion files! That correct?

Hello everyone !

I am using MP 1.1 RC1 with the 3.5 version of myEmulators from this tread. I like the new one very much. Is there a possibility to delete database entries of a game ?
I deleted two games manually (all game folders), but the mp display the games again - this time without the graphics ..
I tried to press "x" or DEL in the myEmulators config screen but nothing happens ..

Not sure but it's always doable manually.
Download sqlite browser and open the right db. Write a query to delete the right entries or use the explorer view.

What is wrong is that you'd have to add them manually. It can't scan for PC games...
