Make sure everything is uninstalled / removed

If there are file / folders in these directories, remove them

    C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal

Also look to see if Dokan was installed.... During one of the installs, this failed to install

Ok there were files in those directories, so I deleted them and retried the install. Exactly the same issue. Here is the log.

    From the install log:
    Code:

Is that directory still there? I'm guessing /q means "quiet". Maybe you can run it directly from the command line and you might get a more detailed error that just the return code.

    Desmond,

Dokan is not installing on your system for some reason. Download the package from here, run the downloaded file and reboot if prompted to do so. Thne run the MP2 setup executable once again.

    Hi there,

i think you have to install an package from ms kb3033929, it is needed to install dokan. I had the same problem during the setup for mp2.

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

Looks like there's some kind of error regarding translations that I can't pinpoint about Subcentral. You'll find it in the log file I attached to my previous message. I don't understand it because I use MP in english, I search for subtitles in english and not in my native language, so I can't figure out what's translation got to do...

you are right.. I spotted why it's not working. For what ever reason, the 3x recently added / watched for TV series, etc was killing it.. I've removed it for now and it's started working again. I'll have to dig a little deeper as to why it's happened all of a sudden.
