Problems during install

Hi,

I just bought an IPhone and I can't wait to see this beautiful plugin. Only I am having problems installing it. During install I get the message "Setting plugin config failed - use SetupTV to configure". Also the TVService can not be restarted, it fails with the message in the eventvwr "EventType clr20r3, P1 tvservice.exe, P2 0.9.4.19269, P3 493b9a7a, P4 ipimptranscodetomp4, P5 2.1.0.0, P6 493bb1c1, P7 20, P8 0, P9 system.indexoutofrangeexception, P10 NIL." After uninstalling ipimp the tvservice can be started.

Hope someone can help.

From the above both the config utility and tv plugin are crashing - I'd reinstall Microsoft .NET and use windows update to ensure it was fully patched.

2 issues with 3.0.0

environment: multiseat

on tvserver, apache service couldn't be installed, reason 2.

on client (no tvserver installed), setup (for the plugin) couldn't be launched because tvserver wasn't detected.

apart from that, great job!!

Doh!!! It's always the simple things......

I can fix the 2nd issue quickly - the first I'm not so sure about - someone else reported this I think but I haven't been able to recreate it. I'm just using the apache command to install the daemon as a service.

Could it be that this issue comes up when an earlier version is already installed? I can still access the web interface, in spite of that apache installation error.

Yes that would cause an error. You must always uninstall the previous version. I'll see if I can put this into a future installer. I've also submitted a v3.0.1 which will allow the MP client plugin to be installed by itself. It should be available soon.
