AW: iPiMP 5.1.0 is released

I can't connect to my Client on a single seat system.
TV streaming is working fine.
All ports are the standard ports during the installation (80, 55667, 55668)

I configured the client in ipimp with a name, the right ip, no port because standardports, the right mac-adress.
when i start the client in ipimp there comes a message like cannot connect to client, sending WOL.

Any idea for this problem?

Just tried this on my Sony Ericsson and it works fine when connected to my home network by wifi but not when I turn off wifi and use 3g.
Is there something else I need to do to be able to use it remotely over 3g ?

Are you trying to connect to your external IP (ISP provided). Do you have firewalls enabled blocking outside access.
You'll be able to access things via local wifi that you may not be able to over your 3G network since you will be coming from the outside.

Yes, I'm trying to connect over the internet by gprs on my phone.
I've tried forwarding ports on my router with no luck.
Can someone tell me which ports to forward if this is required.
Also, should I put anything different in my phones' browser or do you still
use the ip address of the computer serving Mediaportal ?

On your router, you will forward port tcp 8080 (or whatever the iPiMP website uses) to the internal IP address of MP, eg. 192.168.1.2

On your phone, you will goto http://xx.xx.xx.xx:8080 (external router address)

I've tried forwarding ports 80, 55667 and 55668 to my PC's internal IP but with no luck.
When I try connecting to my external IP with port 80 I get my routers config page.
Does anyone know the correct ports ?

    try one of these;

disable your router config page for external access.

or change the port iPiMP runs on so you can forward to something else, eg 8080.

or forward external 8080 to 80 internal. connect to :8080 on external IP
