Aaaargh !!!
We had a guy round today to fix our boiler and he had the electricity off for a few minutes.
This, of course, caused my router to reboot and now I'm just getting "Access Error: 404 -- Not Found" when I try to access ipimp on the external IP.
Port 80 is still forwarded ok.
Any ideas guys ?

Edit :-

Re-did the port forwarding and it's working again, phew !

I kept getting the FUBAR message on only certain TVSeries, and in some cases only certain episodes within the same series/season. Looking at the error message, it threw an exception at Website.TvSeriesEpisode.GetThumbs....anyways I eventually figured if no episode thumb exists (not available, or not downloaded to MP) it will return FUBAR. If you want to test, just rename.old an episode thumb (eg. ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MPTVSeriesBanners\30 Rock\Episodes), and try accessing that episode in iPiMP.

So it would be a good idea to include a default image if nothing exists rather than stop processing.

Also, with regards to episode images, if you click on an episode (say 30 Rock 1x05) a jpg is created in the images directory, and it remains there... so when you click on a different series (say Star Trek 1x05) you'll see the original jpg of 30 Rock 1.05.

    Cheezey,

I have been testing Owlroosts new dshowhelper (v69) to try and minimise drop frames, but I have noticed on my single seat setup, I get dropped frames when IPimp and MPClientcontroller "ping" each other:

    2011-03-04 22:59:42.062277 [Debug][(24)]: plugin: MPClientController - iPiMP ping on 10.105.105.255
    2011-03-04 22:59:42.062277 [Debug][(24)]: plugin: MPClientController - iPiMP ping data htpc,00-26-18-86-51-F8,55667,True,True

I assume this is used to test the client controller is running?

I'm not sure if anyone else is noticing this issue (I dont get such a pronounced effect with other versions of dshowhelper).

What frequency is it checking? And is there any other way it can be done?

    Thanks,

    J.

This is only used to autoregister the clients with the iPiMP web app and is hard coded to 60secs. I'll look to modify this behaviour in the next version, perhaps ping for the first five minutes and only until they get an acknowledgement back. Interesting this has an affect with your dropped frames, all this ping does is send a single UDP network packet.

Does your pc still got the same IP like before? Fix or dhcp IP?
Perhaps your routing ends in a wrong IP.

Same IP as before the power went off.
It's working fine since I re-did the port forwarding again though.

Is there anyone else that have problems with IPIMP on IOS 4.3?
When I upgraded my Iphone 4 to ios 4.3 the TV part is working but when stopping the TV and you should get back to
previous page where you can stop the running stream, I'm only stuck with Quicktime background. I'm unable to go "back"
so that I can stop the stream. Haven't had this problem previously with iOS 4.2.1... The workaround is to logon to IPIMP again and then stop the running stream...

Also for the record I have problems playing other transcoded videos as well... I'm beginning to regret I upgraded...
