The URLs with RTP work and the UPD breaks up whilst playing.

Previous URLS missing the "@" symbol. That needs to be in there.

The SQL file charli181 refers to is attached.

It seems other Australians have MP working with TPG IPTV.... just not talking on this forum anymore !!!

Yes Riksmith... the URLS work in VLC.

I can use both IE and firefox to watch the IPTV channels (due to VLC plugin)

I can use VLC to watch the channels.

Cannot pick them up in Media Portal.

As for the SQL... over my head, but followed instructions on the wiki and after 35 records successfully importated at step9 I didn't see the channels.

Thanks riksmith... its heavy reading and a little out of my depth.

where do the .patch files go ?!?

The .patch files are not really your cup of tea :). Those are used to patch the source code and then compile the binaries yourself.

What you should use are the binaries (.dll, .ax, .exe etc). I think they have provided them, but you can also try to request binaries for the MP version you are using.

I followed the original thread and read the new one you posted already. Have to revisit it again as its all new to me.

As for the MPIPTVSource.ax file.... I placed it in the Media Portal folder (backed up original) and restarted server. I gather that this is the compiled file you speak of with the RTP header information.

This has made no difference to my current circumstances. Still no visible channel in MP.

It seems to me that your provider requires you to use RTP. Now i found the thread i know that it is not supported in MP. That thread is trying to add support for it, so i think it is best to ask your technical question there. They are also the users who have the knowlegde. And if you ask nicely most will be very willing to assist you :)
