Can you please post here source code of the last filter. It works perfect on my Win XP server with my IPTV provider, but I fell self-confident if I have the sources :D

New version of filter. Filter is little bit faster especially when you don't use multicast UDP connection. Source codes and patch for MPIPTV filter in SVN added.

Hi all! Today i have found that my new MP 1.2.0 beta can't scan any dvb-ip channels! I have installed the latest mpiptvsource.ax and tvlibrary.dll (posted here several pages before). It works. But not as good as i think. The problem is, that MP scans current channels from IPTV playlist and adds them as only new channels. It is because PMT PID and SID changes in streams of new channels. To identify channel only thing I need is URL and port, like udp://@123.45.67.89:1234
My iptv provider, as I knows, tranlslate streams from several sattellites to IPTV, so PID and SID of channels changes often and every time I need to scan all not working channels (they stop working may be when provider changes satelite for channel???) and manually edit old (not working channels) to insert in them the new values of PID and SID from new scanned channels. It's really annoying. May be any idea how to fix this?
So, all i'm trying to say, is that for dvb-ip, in my case, I need only URL to identify channel.

    Hi, I have few questions:

Today i have found that my new MP 1.2.0 beta can't scan any dvb-ip channels!

    In MP 1.1.3 it works?

The problem is, that MP scans current channels from IPTV playlist and adds them as only new channels.

Did you try to scan with Provider doesn't uniquely identify channels (detection errors) option checked? If your provider change ONID, SID or TSID than this option doesn't help you.

Is your provider streaming on same adress and port same channel?

georgius, I don't remember have I use ever MP 1.1.3, because that the previos version of MP was 1.2.0 alpha and as far as i remember, i was scanning channels on this version (alpha) normally without any issues.
Yes, i trying to scan channels with "Provider doesn't uniquely identify channels (detection errors)" option checked.
My provider always streaming each channel at unique adress and port, but sometimes it changes SID on channels.
    For example:
    channel 1 is 1.2.3.4:1234
    channel 2 is 1.2.3.5:1234
    channel 3 is 1.2.3.6:1234
after some time (2-3 weeks) channel 3 is stop working im MP, but in VLC is STILL working.
I rescan channels in MP and channel 3 appears as a new channel with other PMT and Service ID, but the URL of channel is the same!

You should report your scanning problem to MP 1.2.0 Beta development forum because it's not problem of IPTV filter but your problem has arisen between MP 1.2.0 Aplha and MP 1.2.0 Beta.

georgius, some times ago i have rised this problem in forum, don't remember in what forum exactly, but i think that is not a bug, because MP has "strong dvb direction in development" so may be i need to post this problem such as any type of suggestion to developers? Don't know how to tell about that to developers. Thanks to you anyway for examining this problem.
But talking about any version of MP, I must say, that problem with scanning channels as new presist always.

Between MP 1.2.0 Alpha and MP 1.2.0 Beta is breaking change in scanning of channels. Now are channels identified by ONID + SID (or by ONID + TSID + SID in case when Provider doesn't uniquely identify channels (detection errors) option is checked). In MP 1.2.0 it was provider name, channel name and SID. I strongly recommend to post your problem in MP 1.2.0 Beta development forum, where can be this problem more deeply analyzed and discussed.

AW: IPTV/DVB-IP in MP: Support for http, rtp and udp

    Hi Georgius,

I just wanted to download your latest version. I noticed that there are far too many different version out there. The very old one from velis, my old version and some of your versions.

I think no user will find the best version, which I think is your latest. Thats why I would like to remove all other versions from the forum and post a link to only one place.

There were 2 places where I uploaded my old version to. I removed both of them and put your latest version on the first page of this thread. Hope thats ok for you?!
Can you now delete all versions you uploaded to the forum? I don't think that anyone really wants to use the older versions. Then we would only have the best version on the first page. What do you think?

If you continue the development of the filter, you could also start a new thread in the development section. This thread was initially intended to inform the users that there is a new IPTV filter. But it turns out to become a development thread in the wrong section. :D

Re: AW: IPTV/DVB-IP in MP: Support for http, rtp and udp

I removed all attachements in this forum and also created new thread where I post latest version with patch for SVN for my version of filter. I think that for many users it have to be confusing with these all versions of filters (my, your or velis).

Anyway, I fixed bug in KARTINA protocol, where when connection was closed and opened new one, than there was used old connection ticket.
