Hi.
You can use your existing MP1 TV Server from within MP2 (via MPExtended) or the MP2 native TV solution. If your cards are working in MP1 the they are working in MP2 too (at least with the MP1 TV Server).
In a few days there will be the release of the brand new MP2 Alpha3 version with lots of new features and fixes. So stay tuned...

MP(1) will only use LAV if you select "Internal DirectShow player" as music output, but then you lose gapless playback.
