Got it. I removed and re-installed the plugin and look at the mp config plugin sections. The mytv plugin was set as "Show in plugins" (or something) instead of "Show in home".

So no problem anymore. Cheers for the help

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck?
