So far I have downloaded the Free version and plan to get the Eve Version
Are there any plans to support MP2?
Plugin's such as this might help with more Dev's helping to support development in MP2.

MP2 can probably be supported with little effort if MP2 supported MPExtended and had a similar WifiRemote functionality... This is also probably true for other clients like aMPDroid.

MPExtended is supported. I cannot speak on the WiFiRemote.

MPExtended is supported

Not exactly. SlimTV is supported in the "wrong" direction, MP2 Client (SlimTV client) -> MP2 Server (SlimTV service) -> MPExtended -> MP1 (TVServer)

Eve and the other clients will need MPExtended plugins which can either talk to MP2 Server or for the whole of MPExtended to be embedded into MP2 Server. There's some Proof Of Concept work which shows this is viable but it's not production ready and some parts will need to be reworked.
