    Issue with recent cvs's

    Hi,

In the recent cvs's I am getting an error when I try and run the setup for the external display plugin. The exact text of the error is:

Failed to locate assembly 'ProcessPlugins.XmlSerializers, version=1.0.2149.41435, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null". Not that the configuration program must be executed from/reside in the MediaPortal folder, the execution will now end.

This is with a clean install of the 0.2 rc1 with any of the cvs from the last 3 days at least - I didnt go any farther back but it might be any of the .net 2.0 releases.

    Any help on this issue?

    Thanks!

    TFT display

    Hi,

I'm a neebie here, so sorry for stupid questions.

I know that LCD != TFT, but can this be used for external 7" tft?

I'm planning to buy Dign/Origien X15e case with tft display and I'm wondering if I could use tft to show the MP "mini window" which is shown in left hand corner while playing music or video (at least if I press esc after pressing play). In this way I could use tft touch screen to control music playing without switching on my projector.

    thanks ZZ

I also get an 'unhandled exception' error when trying to run setup of the External display plugin. I'm running MP 02.0 with cvs-11-22-2005--14.07

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

    For example:

    <configuration>

    I am using the HD44788 :(

The same here, no difference between wake up from standby or hibernate..
When I play a mp3 file I only get the length of the titel, but no other info Artist/Titel. (CVS 10.23.)

Same issue here. Seems to be an issue with the latest CVS's a clean install of 0.2 RC1 worked fine but once you install a newish CVS (anything from November onwards is causing me issues).

I clean loaded 0.2 RC1 did the setup then applied CVS to solve the issue. Just hope I dont need to change anything.

I'm still using it with every new CVS ;)

Maybe you should install the webinterface just for the newer dll.

I am using a iMon usb VFD. As per suggestions in this thread, I have installed "dummy" p.port drivers. And every time I enter the lcd plugin setup, it halts with an error report that I cant get passed.

I have further understood it as 0.2.0.0 RC1 did allow this setup to work, but further CVS-es broke it. My question is: Is it necessary to ask for p-port drivers in a plugin that does not necessarily use the p-port?

    best regards

rtv: What do you mean webinterface. For the VFD?? Do you have a iMON usb in your silverstone? How did you get past the p.port check?

I tried the latest RC2 yesterday on my office computer. The plugin still crach immidiately when I try to start it. This is a completely different computer. Am I the only one with this prob??

    regards
