I added an event that can check if a particular tuner is in use, please test, so by combining those events you can have different statuses if 2 are in use....

And if you would like to show your gratitute, you are welcome to donate, this is the only way to test the donate button:D

    Thanks for the quick response.

I do not think that this will fill my need.
    Let me explain:
    - I only have one led installed.
    - If a tuner is in use this led should go on.
    - If both tuners are in use this led should blink.

So if I see the led blinking I know that I can not use MP to watch live TV.
    That's my goal.

If I can do this with this version please let me know how. ( I am not sure what to fill in at "card ID")

    Thanks in advance.

Fill in the cardID as seen in "manual control" of setuptv, the card that would be used first when a recording is happening you enter into LEDcontroller(without blinking), then the card that would be used second when a second recording starts you enter into LEDcontroller above the first card event with blinking set active, when card1
starts recording the LED lights up, when card2 starts recording, the lowest event is ignored and the LED starts blinking.

While writing this I see a problem with this, when card1 stops recording it would still blink,........ I'l look into this

EDIT: I've added the event that will trigger when all tuners are recording, so for the LED to just burn, ad 'MP Server - Recording' and above that add 'MP Server - All tuners recording' + let it blink

Please test if it works correct

Don't appreciate that you've changed this plugin to now be "crippleware". Goes against the whole idea of MediaPortal being free/donationware and so up to the individual.

With your latest changes I was in fact going to donate - but this has left a bad taste in the mouth. Especially since you've 'priced' it same as MediaPortal itself, or ForTheRecord - both of which are huge in comparison.

I would suggest that you rethink this. Instead, submit LEDcontroller as a full plugin in the plugins section and get more publicity. The feature is buried in this thread and doesn't get the recognition (or awareness) it deserves. That way you may well get more users and so more donations.

I tested for a couple of day's now, and it works.

The only think I came across is that the blink frequentie should be a certain amount of the polling frequentie.
Otherwise the led is blinking but seems to stutter. Now I set it to 200ms and the polling is default 1 sec.

    Thanks again!

This was already asked and answered on the previous page of this thread. Answer was "No".
