    Thats great to hear :).
When does this error occur? When you just started your machine/mediaportal?
Regarding flickering, can you describe that a bit more? Or make a video of if?
To be honest I have only just realized it in my logs, I haven't noticed in when watching movies... I will try to make a video clip of the flicker.. I can describe it as a short 'blink' or something like that... [emoji1]

This isnt mediaportal running right? If it is, can you test if you have these problems also when mediaportal is not running and you just use ambibox?

Yes this is mediaportal running... I don't see the same problems with ambibox and playclaw running.. But again this comes a little on and off.. As you may remember I have a little error with local host in my log files, so I thought it might have something to do with that...

The error can be ignored, and has no influence on these flickers.
It happens when AtmoLight tries to connect to AmbiBox and for some reason AmbiBox does not allow connecting. Then this error appears.

I will have to do some testing with AmbiBox then on my system, maybe i can reproduce it.
Some other stuff that might be interesting to know.
At what framerate is AmbiBox running with MP and video running?
Do you have blackbar detection on?
Do you have enabled the delay feature?

I have blackbar detection on, and delay off.. I have tried to switch it both on and off, but not much difference...

I can reproduce it with any video/framerate, but the video I uploaded was 23 fps.... I will get back to you with ambibox fps... Thnx

Reducing the AmbiBox max FPS should reduce flickering, or add more delay to the LED output. Flickering usually happens when your capture rate is higher then what your LED driver/hardware can keep up with.

I have tried lowering the FPS and play around with the delay time, but it only shows if i use the mediaportal capture mode... I can run it at max with no delay in ambibox, and dont see any flicker when playing video file from mediaplayer :(.... If i play files from mediaportal i do not see any fps hits over 30, in ambibox.

Run MediaPortal in windowed mode, but maximize the window size to entire screen. Then have task manager and/or your favorite app such as HWMonitor run in the background to monitor CPU/task usage.

I know MediaPortal for me on Titan Extended home screen uses an enourmous amount of CPU cycles (60-80%), but the moment I open a plugin it drops (5-10%). Granted I am still on MePo v1.08, but I'm tired of upgrading to upgrade, and it doesn't exactly bother me. Still such CPU usage would clearly interfere if AmbiBox was doing any active LED control.

I do not use the MediaPortal method to drive my Lightpack though; just AmbiBox itself. It works fine for me, and haven't found the time to mess with it yet.
