    Great to hear :).
Have you tried the new context menu that @Rick164 added to AtmoLight? Afaik you can switch your Hue system off with that without interfering with other AtmoLight stuff.
No haven't tried the new menu out, I will do this soon everything plays well.. Right now I've just using ambibox and not the ambihue... But will put this back and try the new menu .

What kind of setup of the LEDs would you recommend on the following hardware basis: 46" TV, Lightpack with 10 LED Strips and the TV is about 5cm away from the wall. 4 strips top, 2 each side, 2 down? Or is then maybe the distance between the LEDs too large and maybe only 5 strips each side is netter. What do you think?
I have 4 on top 2 down on each side and 2 down... My TV is 55" and on a stand... Ca. 20 cm. From the wall... That looks great in my opinion, if that can help you...
The same positions, TV is 51", also on stand and yes, 20cm wall distance. Stripes are 2cm of the edge on all sides.

Thanks guys, will try hopefully today. The main reason I asked is the small distance to the wall. Will mount it and see how it works.

Think what @azzuro means is that if you place the leds closer to the wall you will get less led displacement, so the closer you get the more natural the transition looks.
So if you have them pretty far from the wall you might get color blobs and the effect will be not that great imo which is what you see in some demo videos.

Just a personal preference and really depends on how close the leds are to each other as well, I like the leds pretty close next to each other and the tv not that far from the wall so that it's somewhat accurate to what's actually on the screen edges (precise placement).

Installed it now and one thing is sure: 10 strips with each 3 LEDs on 5 cm wall distance are not enough! I need more LEDs! But for a beginning its ok to live with. Guess I have to get way more strips and channels to get a real surrounding light.

Okay a couple of moths with ambibox and lightpack, and everything is running nicely... I do oocasionally get an error in the log, regarding the local host. I can´t see that it affects my performance so maybe it´s nothing. And also sometime the lightpack flickers a little, even though there is no movement in colours on the screen..

If you know of anything that could these small errors, it would be much appriciated. And again it´s running great with Ambibox from my POV :)...

    Thats great to hear :).
When does this error occur? When you just started your machine/mediaportal?
Regarding flickering, can you describe that a bit more? Or make a video of if?
