Hi Tony,
Thanks again. I will let you know the results.
Thanks again. I will let you know the results.
I downloaded it, but of course it needs a few days to test and to make sure if there are any difference.
But I have no hopes left, because I have still artifacts and freezes. It's a never ending story.
Currently I'm using MP 1.5-Prerelease. But it makes no difference which version I'm using.
As said in the past, this is what I can say:
- It happens on different HTPC, so it is NOT hardware related
- It is not driver related (because it happens on different hardware and with different driver versions)
- It is not related to the sat installation, because it happens on different sat installations at different locations
- It is not OS related (happens on Win7 and Win8)
- It happens on Free TV channels and on Pay TV channels
- It happens with and without mdapi+ (also with acamd and with hadu)
- It happens with different codecs (lav filter, amd video decoder, microsoft dtv decoder)
- It happens with all TSReader.ax versions (btw: maybe it is a TSWriter.ax issue? )
- Sometimes I can watch TV for many hours without any problems, sometimes it happens after 15-30min
- If I switch the channel or rewind current timeshift playback, the issue is gone for the same intervall until it happens again
- I cant verify it, so it could also be random, but I think it happens on some tv channels more than on others (e.g. ond ZDF HD and on National Geographic HD I have more artifacts, freezers, etc. as on e.h. ProSieben HD)
- Those issues not happen with DVBViewer, etc.
- Those issues not happen while watching movies (mkv, full hd, 3d, dts-hd, dolby true hd, etc.) with MediaPortal (Moving Pictures)
I can't verify it, but I seems that the issue happens more and heavier with your latest version of TSreader, cause now, if the issue begins, it's freezing and hanging more and MP reacts very slow on Remote Control input. Sometimes I also have to close MP. With the original TSreader.ax which comes with MP, it is not so extrem and often I have nothing to while those artifacts begin, because after a few seconds everything is automatically ok again.
I'm genuinely sorry that you feel that way. Personally I think you've been given a lot of really good advice, but you appear to have ignored a lot of it.But I have no hopes left...
From the log files you've provided, we don't have proof for many of these conclusions. Especially the conclusion that MD/decrypting is not part of the problem. I get really tired of repeating myself: if you want help, provide full log files showing the problem with MD completely disabled. As said in the past, this is what I can say...
I will not comment or investigate without complete new log files where MD is disabled.btw: maybe it is a TSWriter.ax issue?
