It's a short mkv derivated from an European sat tv recording ( 1080i 50Hz. ) where the MP's drc works perfectly setting the correct refresh rate, while MAVR is not able to do it.

Thanks a lot for your time

Interesting using MPC-HC with Madvr, Cntrl+j shows this clip as 23hz and it plays at 60hzo_O (no 23hz available with test PC monitor) but when played with VLC it is seen and played as 50hz.

Exactly, the problem is that do exist MKV like this sample where in the header are indicated two different refresh rates and Madvr doesn't use the correct one ...

Does it means that madVR use 'Original frame rate' while MP DRC take 'Frame rate' value ? :)

This is happening cause MadVR detects a 3:2 Pull Down in the video and as a result it will try to reproduce the original content.

In order to avoid that u will have to make some adjustment.

    Capture.JPG

Set it like that and try again:)

P.S. U should also disable any Pull Down detection that ur card might be doing, but 1st see with the options i suggest, if it works then u are ready.

    Hi @Sebastiii
regarding the problem with MP GUI blank when x presed. as you mentioned is related when Windowed overlay is active. If disabled, I have no more problems but H265 videos dont play fluent if no windowed mode active.

Is it possible to solve that?

I have problems with long stop in tv and series, mostly after watching long time one series or one tv channel. Mostly zapping runs very fast.

Finnaly i have this now in logs. Look at timestamp 2016-10-17 20:26:22 going on stop and 2016-10-17 20:26:38. Maybe someone has some ideas.

Does it happen with mpc-hc ? (last time i get this it happen too in mpc-hc) (or maybe it's a madVR setting or nvidia hard to tell :( )
