I need your help. Where are the nvidia guys and can share some settings

I used DDU to deinstall drivers in safe made, reinstalled lav and nvidia drivers 375.95 with the new zotac geforce 1050 ti. Now all seems to be fine with 4k (tv, series, normal h264) till i want to look 3D. If i activate stereo 3D, i have 3D (must also switch mode on TV while on AMD this was automatically), but after zap to normal content it justs crashed. Without activating I don't get 3D, also see this in the denon app showing the resolution without 3D.

Tried v242 and v244 and after two evenings of testing i'm shortly before smashing my head or the graphic card vs something

Tried a lot of settings, for example mp "force mp window refresh (for 3D)". Btw. can't confirm for now that the 1050 ti is better than RX 460. Picture Quality is quite similar, stop time is better , but i also see flickering in gui, just in a other way it was with AMD.

v246 has fixed the OV control problem for me. Will continue testing.

V246 seems to have solved the OSD issues here (no more info lost on reloads), so no more outstanding issues on the list

I have a 100% loss of control in Mov.Pic.,TVS and Videos, no OSD, context, stop or pause, only way to stop playback is via Task Manager. The first set of logs attached cover the problem in TVS and Mov.Pic, at one point I tried using the back button (still working) and going to TV which stopped the vid. playback and played TV but the problem then infected TV and even after an MP restart TV still had no control. Had to rebbot to clear. 2nd set of logs is after the reboot with TV back to normal, but shows the problem also with Videos but once this short vid ended it returned to the GUI OK.

i am using a LG OLED/Denon X6200/GTX1080 and had a long run until it was working fine for me as well.
So basically i am using the following setup:

MP:


I am not using the MP refreshrate switch this is done by madvr for me.

NvidiaControl Panel:

Be sure to run the Stereosetup wizzard once when not done yet - i think its starts automatically when 3D is activated for the first time anyway.
Windows panel automatically follows Nvidia:


Additonally i am using a tool called "3D Vision Toggler" to enable 3D whenever i need it cause after playing 2D content the 3D feature always gets deactivated on my machine:

I can use that to enable Stereo without exiting MP .. every time i need it without entering the control panel.

Madvr is configured like this:



This way every file other than 3D will be upscaled to 4K .. for 3D it will switch to 1080p3D and the TV will upscale.
Are you trying to upscale 3D to 4K using madvr? This won`t work as HDMI is not capaple of 4K 3D at the moment so every upscaling of 3D (framepacked) will end up in showing 2D.

My TV will switch to 3D mode automatically when framepacked 3D (bluray/mkv) is played... still when you are playing SBS for example you will have to switch to 3D mode manually at least i have to.

I know this might not be related to MP crashing but maybe it can help to solve the issue.

@GeYe about 3d problems, if u on dual screen setup use the primary screen for a correct 3d detection with the tv and all monitors must be set to auto 3d format no matter if they actually have 3d mode available.
