what winver ya using on htpc?

lucky u^^ i cant switch manually with my bravia.
only automatic mode works for 3d-fp, with some kind of autodetection from the tv itself.. and 3d popup menu for that old sbs/tab stuff

    My HTPC :)

So maybe reverting to older code will be ok let let FSE in trash :p
yep, i also believe that is the best at the moment.;)
on the second htpc (win fail 1709) havent updated mepo yet and the old version is still running with fse on without problems except for that stupid 3d
only this windows fullscreen optimisation disabled ticked, seems to have been necessary for normal use..or

    Ok :)
Yep it seems i know now why there is the strange background, so will release a V362, it will not work for exclusive :( but hopping that it will work as before :)
In fact madVR need to know the owner of the video (MediaPortal in this case) and to have the FSE working, it was needed to setup another Owner (related to MP window but not at 100%) really hard to explain for me because i didn't fully understand it too.

Still, now i have put a good owner (like it was before) but i have changed the code to avoid some loop test when MP running.
Now (need to be able to compil) but u have added a bool to work with the window create like Kodi and/or with MP window.

i'm pretty that all the issue is because we are working in a graph building sync with main thread while MPC-HC / Kodi etc. with with thread and we also have the C# vs C++ issue that can lead to some deadlock.

In final, we have bug in MP / Windows / GPU Driver and maybe madVR, so not easy lol :p

    @daWooky if you can try this build :p (V362 : http://tinyurl.com/ydzdz2gn)

So for me DXVA2 Native (LAV) / madVR D3D11 (no FSE) and seems to works :p

BTW, i have updated to latest Nvidia (nothing change on Windows side) and now with 3D button already enable most of video crash on start lol.

And about the MP crash with button 3D on, it happen also with MPC-HC :p
At least one thing is the same lol and this is with 1703 Windows build :p

With latest madVR i'm getting error in HDR presentation on stop, i don't have HDR even with default settings it happen, maybe related to a bug in GPU driver lol :p
Reverted back to .8 and it's ok :p

oh man,you really did try on .8 madvr, and everything was good?..:censored: i will see about that tonight
tried the v362, dx9cb with mad defaults as before so with exclusive mode on ...
runs quite good again, everything starts again as it should... and no errors or exceptions discovered so far (except for the 3d as 2d, which is synonymous again as before:sneaky:.. ) i don't mind. and tested with windowed quickly, all seemed nice and problem free...
so after that mess with exceptions all around, its running again (y)(y)
