[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (5 Viewers)

Here we go. Firstly, the 4:3 issue has improved, it worked a few times but not everytime. The jerky frame issue is the last thing that happened in these logs, coincidentally during a test where 4:3 worked ok.

Jerky TV can be seen in tsreader.log i think, i'm not the expert, does it happen with recording too ?

Don't think so, but I have a much smaller sample size there so not certain.

Not sure how to improve it, it's all timing related but still there is something with the format of that channel but no clue what lol

Maybe @Owlsroost can tell us something about, i didn't understand how to analyse tsreader.log.

The night was very short, debugging madVR until 5 oclock lol and wake early 8:00

But i have something else to see if dropframe can be better.

What i have change, is when video is on fullscreen force only video layer to be displayed. Maybe it doesn't change but seems a little better here lol

tried v54 with the igpu client
not able to reproduce the drops on tv first tunings again
and watched some hours with many channel changes (@kenwonders u know some channel with the 4*3 problem on astra?)
all fine- frames stop drop/repeat as they should


and fiddle around a bit for better picture quality

back to a real gpu

So it's good but maybe related to LAV, are you able to compare with older version just to be sure ?

I can tune Astra too 19.2

How about the Waltons on True Movies 2. I just got the 4:3 issue with it. Seb you have definately got somewhere with this, as it is no longer 100% certain. Jerky fps however is also loads more common in v54.

Bah, thought it was at 19.2 too. I've just had a look can't see any crossover channels with 28.2 that would be 4:3

compared v54 with iris and pref. lav build, no drops all good
too lazy (and it runs too good) to set the other client back to previous^^

any crossover channels....

only some news stuff nhk, bbc...damn no diseq availabe
