[WiP] madVR support in MP1 (17 Viewers)

FCU on DRR on. mkv started but screen stayed black. After a while it jumped back to where I can start the mkv. Second start ob the mkv led to crash.
FCU off DRR on. Worked perfectly.
FCU on DRR off. Worked perfectly

FCU off DRR on. mkv started ok, but by stopping MP crashed

Seb I think my main problem was with the latest NVIDIA. I have gone back a version and have yet to see any issues at all (touch wood) even with v430 (either checkbox option). Sorry if I sent your efforts in the wrong direction!

I'll continue to monitor and update when you make new versions as regression testing

FCU on DRR on AVR off. I try to start the video, but the screen stayed black. It was weird, because the madvr information looked like the video was running. MP crashed completly and I had to shot it up.
FCU on DRR on and also AVR on. First start of the video failed. The GUI jumped back to where I can start the video, but no crash. After that, the starts of the mkv ran smoothly.
FCU off DRR on AVR off. worked perfectly

From the results, I hope I have choosen the right tests. In case of needing any additional, give me a hint.
Testing all is to boring ;-)

I think, the best was v3. Only first start failed and without AVR it's not running.

by the way. Using EVR with FCU on and MP DRR on is working perfectly.

I have tried the new core and had a Madvr crash both with Auto3D on and off. With EVR I had a single incident where the video froze, with audio still playing and on manual stop audio stopped but then no more control and I had to use the task manager to close MP. After restarting I have not yet had any further problems with EVR despite a long period of heavy usage. Logs and crash reports attached, names say all.

A few questions on settings. I do not have 3D, and use a 1080p plasma (720p60, 1080p24, 1080p60, 1080p23, 1080i59, 1080p59)
I watch a mix of content (480/720/1080 & 4K (downsampled to 1080).
Do I enable:
MP Config: Dynamic Refresh Rate?
MP Config: Ignore Windows Resolution/size changes in fullscreen mode?
MP Config: Use Workaround FCU blackscreen fix?
MP Config: MadVR: Use Internal refresh rate?
MadVR: Windowed Overlay?
MadVR: FSE Mode?
MadVR: DX11?
MadVR: Seperate Device(s)?

hi guys. a lot to read after vacation, nice

@Sebastiiii just whooped the new version on latest insider with new nvidia hdr driver but didnt came far... only 2 videos to be exact^^
with a running video playback when i open a new file the pc briefly freezes followed by a direct restart sadly reproducible

@biship hard to say without your exact specs... ati/nvidia or intel???
i dont remember them, but in general start with defaults to see if it works this way. only edit the display rates within madvr to match your tv/display...
