zip seems broken

btw. i tested v230 extensively on htpc yesterday evening with opening the tvguide osd while tv or video is running.
not a single freeze, sometimes it takes about 2 sec to open but most of the time it was instantly on the screen.
in general v230 runs damn good on my htpc

Out of curiosity i have copied core v230 over v242 - guide works

For me guide works fine with latest build, but i am using Catalyst and DXVA Native, actually latest build improved even further the stop times on live tv here, it was already fast (around 2 sec) but now it is even faster (around 1 sec).

maybe it also depends on the way it is opened. on htpc i use a rc button to trigger the guide (and the freeze) with the F9 menu or without a running presentation it opens as it should be

I am opening tv guide from the tv menu by selecting the tv guide button, keep in mind i have enabled the "disable low latency rendering mode"


i am not sure if it makes any difference regarding how u access the tv guide, but i am accessing it by going in the tv menu and selecting the tv guide button.

You can try it and see if it makes any difference.

Guys I will link to V244

So in this one :

• 1) Added a workaround to avoid MP to handle double key-event (no clue why but it can happen when using exclusive mode and it seems related to RenderEx3 for 3D subs change for MPC-HC Engine)
• 2) Also @daWooky it seems to properly resize and position the video when using alt+enter.

So could be nice to have feedback

The issue trigger but 1) is when starting a video it act like keyboard/remote key are not handled by MP but in fact it is but MP receive double input, so for ex when you want to do a pause, MP receive pause/pause message and then the video is not paused lol.

Just tested shortly the V242 with Crimson Beta 16.11.4 Hotfix and the slow stop seems to be fixed. I don't think it was the driver, because i had slow stops with new driver and old version. Couldn't test much (only a 6 minutes run, but stop in 2s), because a pc broke and i need my rx 460 in that pc. But a Geforce 1050 TI is on the way. Will see which of them will be my finally card in the htpc
