madVR v0.92.11

* added 2 new lower "remove compression artifacts" strengths
* slightly improved "remove compression artifacts" quality at lower strengths
* "remove compression artifacts" now always runs as part of NGU (if possible)
* display bitdepth now defaults to new "auto" setting (read from EDID)
* extended "if there are big black bars, reduce bar size" option range
* render target display is now shown in bold in the settings dialog
* added support for "execute command line on profile switch"
* when OS "HDR and Advanced Color" switch is active, FSE mode is disabled
* removed "exclusive" / "windowed" mode OSD notification
* added "(OS HDR)" vs "(NV HDR)" vs "(AMD HDR)" OSD information
* added downscaling "LL" (Linear Light) information to OSD
* added keyboard shortcut for opening settings dialog (default Ctrl+S)

v443, (FCU workarround not enabled) on its own on my HTPC (1703, recent but not latest AMD vid. drivers), is looking good so far. TV, OV, HD,SD vids and 3D MVC both fullscreen and windowed also resume from sleep.
With Auto3D installed though things got very weird. I initially tried to set it up to switch my Phillips TV into 3D mode when I played a 3D SBS but could not get it to work, Auto3D detected it correctly but stayed in SBS mode. On stop the Videos menu was also SBS, very briefly before the TV switched to 3D and then after manually switching 3D off on the TV and hitting back to return to the homescreen that was now in SBS mode (see screenshot) . Got exact same with Auto3D set to "No Device" (as per attached log). I had to disable the Auto3d plugin to stop this

Hello,

unfortunately, the new version doesn't work for me.
Starting mkv with madvr is failing. Independently FCU on or off. Starting it works, but it needs a long time before it starts running. Pressing stop key, MP is crashing without any message from madvr.
With EVR and MP DRR it's working properly.

Yes happens every time, well at least each of the 4 times I tried it.

Is this possible that it's 3D MVC mode triggered ?

Maybe, I do have 1 3DSBS vid that sometimes (50-60% of the time) does trigger the TV into 3D mode automatically, no need to manually switch the TV and no Auto3D etc. The vid I was using for the testing though was the Star Treck demo which does not do that. (well maybe on stop)

@joecrow i need to reproduce it on my side to try to look why it does that lol, it's surely not the 3D MVC but Auto3D that set GUI to SBS but no clue why for now lol

Screenshot as that page was attached. After unticking the "If name contains" box tried again but still just the same.
Also there was a recording scheduled but instead of resumming from sleep in "Away Mode" the Home Gui was displayed but not able to navigate, had to kill MP in the Task Manager.

Does MP was set has 'not responding' ? in task manager ?

hi joe, recording error should be visible in log but about auto3d ya doubled checked that the option is unticked, i seen similar yesterday ^^
btw. new lav nightly available too
