Yep, I have tried with no luck
Still, with no menu and lav splitter/video/audio it should work but like said no menu.
@Owlsroost have tried also if I'm remembering right.

I have the menu, but no video available, but i have nothing in hardware to play fine hevc.

i have an issue with madvr and pictures plugin, i can't play fine video files provided by camera, set EVR in setting all work fine, can you provide the same way than use evr on livetv with checkbox for video played inside picture section ?

You have problems playing HEVC video file in the pictures section with madvr as renderer, right? You have problem with all videos or only HEVC one?

I must agree with you azzuro, I can't play video files in pictures section when using madvr as renderer.

I tried playing the same 84-second video in Pictures and Videos and compare the debug but I don't know enough to work it out.
In MediaPortal.log in Videos there's an additional line [DEBUG] - VMR9Helper: Playing -> Repainting, Frames 50 absent in Pictures playback

In Pictures, 8 ms after the line [DEBUG] - Main: recreate swap chain for madVR done it says [DEBUG] - g_Player.doStop() keepTimeShifting = False keepExclusiveModeOn = False and it stops, whereas in Videos it continues with [DEBUG] - g_Player: ShowFullScreenWindow and [INFO ] - g_Player: ShowFullScreenWindow switching to fullscreen video

In mad.log, there's a line MPMadPresenter:: SetMadVrPaused() run that appears at the start of playback in Videos, but after the stop event in Pictures.
