Ok Ron i tried it as per instructions of using SVN.

Manual record does now work. It did record it and store it OK.

BUT, when watching liveTV if i select a show to record in the guide all looks normal until i go back to watch liveTV after just setting the program to record.

I cannot change channels anymore. The record indicator is on fulltime and i have to shut down MP and restart to watch liveTV.

i guess two steps forward one step back eh ?

Steps to reproduce.....

1. Start MP, liveTV.
2. Press Manual REC.
3. Stop Manual REC say 30 secs later. All is ok and show is recorded.
4. Go to the guide and select a program that will start shortly for recording.
5. Indicator aginst that show says it will record it.
6. Try to now view a channel. It woint let you select a channel to watch even though the recording is not due to start yet.
7. MP is NOT locked up but you cant watch any live TV.

Does not happen here & could be another bug, attach your mediaportal.log to your post, this should tell whats happening when that happens.

Ron, after starting MP agin after a cold reboot the REC indicator is always ON.
I cant turn it off !
I also cannot watch any live TV at all.
The option to Record now is available but if i tryu to close MP i get the message about it still recording.

Do you still want the log anyway ?

Hi,
Thats because it still have the rec in schedule, if you Open My TV & select Schedules you should see it & be able to delete it.

ok did as you suggested and that has freed it up ok.
I am now able to select a program in the future to record yet still be able to change and watch live tV before its due to record.

So at the moment it seems fine.

I'll let you know if the program scheduled to record later on is ok.
If it is, then all is well.

Hi,
The clean up routine it's a design issue (not a bug) & it's fixed in TVE3, don't know if we will be able to have it in TVE2, because it could be a to big task.
