Hi Ron,
i dont want this thread to drag on forever but can you explain what you mean by "The clean up routine it's a design issue ".

So TVE3 is what i should be using ?

I mean im just after the basics, to be able to record future shows and do a manual record if i want to if something interesting is currently on.
So i assume TVE3 is the future because of the client/server architecture you guys seem to be pushing.
Is that correct ?

Im happy to do some testing if you want.

Hi,
After a recording it's finished & it's not a series recording it gets deleted. In TVE3 it's done automatically, but in TVE2 it is not implemented in the same way, so you could end up like you did with a card thinking it is recording & don't let you use it.
MP with TVE2 will have the bugs fixed, but i don't think anyone will implement new things which requires much work, but i dunno

TVE3, it's the way forward of course & it's the new way of recording & watch stuff, some have problems with it & some not & it's not finished with all the things which in TVE2
