Map remote buttons (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to map buttons from my MCE remote to do the same thing as some keyboard keys. I'd like to be able to map 'alt-f4' or even only 'alt' to a button.

Nope, you cannot do that with MP's implementation. Have a look around for HIP (or Girder) & a custom driver. Keep in mind that you'd lose all advantages of the integrated MCE mapper then.
